How does the program work for participating Realtors?

American Housing Programs provides you the Realtor with the tools to successfully Market your homes, even while away. Our Sign and Flyer program will generate and collect leads from the Sign Rider you attach to your Realtor For Sale Sign and from the Flyers that are created by the systems and placed at the home. Once a prospective homebuyer fills out a Homebuyer Application using our systems and following the directions on the Flyer and the Sign Rider, the application is routed to your account. You simply adjust the status on the application and it stays in your account. You are then free to contact the prospective homebuyer.

Federal government down payment and monthly assistance programs are expected to help stimulate the housing market beginning in 2009 due in part to the Obama Administration Housing and Economic Stimulus Act and HUD Programs. American Housing, the nation’s largest source of available programs, can assist Realtor increase home sales.

How the program works for Buyer Agents

Buyer agents are provided pass codes to their MLS markets. The American Housing interactive system opens the available down payment and monthly payment assistance programs only in the specific MLS market. The system contains purchase price limits, geographic boundaries, income limits and other HUD restrictions. It also provides the amount of down payment or monthly payment assistance the home buyer may qualify for in that area. In many cases, the buyer agent can provide the Home Buyer Application form or direct the buyer to a participating lender.

How the program works for Listing Agents

Listing agents now have an opportunity to substantially increase exposure to their listings. American Housing has created the MLS Down Payment/Financial Assistance Flyer that contain the amount of assistance the home qualifies for. The form is attached to the Realtor in-home information packet for home buyers to pick up while visiting the home.

In order to receive down payment assistance, the home buyer is directed to the www.HousingPrograms.org web site, where the MLS number from the flyer is entered. An application opens that contains the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development down payment requirements, such as buyers financial income, number of people in household, credit scores, etc. The application is sent exclusively to the Listing Agent and their participating lender.
